I think the Dem's can win back the Senate but the House is out of reach (gerrymandering kills). The most important thing is winning back some governorships.

If there is one thing that worries me about the GE though it's Donald Trump bringing up Bill's past. Bringing women on stage to speak out against him, etc. It's going to be a mess.

That can really backfire though. People can easily say she shouldn't be judged for Bill's actions. Either way, the fall will be a MESS and I am somewhat here for it.

Conventions are normally a fun thing to experience and a way to unite the party. All the heavy-hitters and up-and-comers come out to get the the party hyped. I hope they deliver again this year with some witty zings.

Listen, Bill Clinton is a very popular man. He might not be liked by anyone, but he is probably one of the most liked Presidents ever. I doubt attacking Bill to hinder Hillary would be a good strategy. That would just annoy and rile up women even more due to equating a woman's worth with her husbands actions. That sentiment is just archaic.

Since racism is no longer a thing in America, according to the Supreme Court, and the Voting Rights Act has been effectively gutted, it might be time for a lesson from the past.

The test required those who took it to correctly answer 30 questions in 10 minutes — something even a group of Harvard students could not do today. The students were recorded struggling with the vaguely-worded questions. Under Louisiana law at the time these students would each require a 100% score on the test to be able to vote.

He's running against pro-Bernie candidate Alan Grayson. Surprised Obama and Biden were so quick to jump and support Murphy. He's the definition of moderate; used to be Republican.

No, I haven't seen any solid polls or notable ones giving us an idea of how things are going in Kansas or Nebraska. Bernie probably has a lead in those states is my guess. Louisiana is in the W column for Hillary, though Bernie has been out advertising her on tv this past week on a ratio of 3 to 1. But she'll still cary the state by 20+ for sure. The lead will be determined by the black vote turnout in the Orleans parish area (traditionally the most populated and bluest part of the state). If they moderately show up, it can get up there to the 30+ lead range.
