I hate how for a song to reach the top of the Billboard Hip-Hop charts, it pretty much has to crossover. A mess.
Which is why you should support a real urban hit like 2 on by Tinashe which has only peaked at 13 on R&B/HipHop Songs and 52 on the Hot 100 due to such injustices.
When was the last time we had a prime time show with prominent black cast members?
I mean, there's Scandal, but Columbus Short got fired and Kerry plays a prostitute.

Pharell does not endorse this conversation.
Quote:
The “new black” doesn’t blame other races for our issues. The “new black” dreams and realizes that it’s not a pigmentation; it’s a mentality. And it’s either going to work for you, or it’s going to work against you. And you’ve got to pick the side you’re gonna be on.

Get ready bby.
The Brazilian/British King Alfred is coming this fall.
Kerry's character is great. She is a high-powered woman (with a present, caring, and active FATHER) working alongside powerful executives in government. The whole "President's side chick" thing doesn't make it any less great.
But I am always ready to yell "Not enough Black people".
We need something about *normal* Black teens - us boys especially.
