well there's nothing to discuss, no new music coming, no new movies, no books, just Younger and she is no the main star of the show

at least during her break she had the "itch" of recording new music and release a new album, now it looks like she doesn't care about her music career anymore

BIBO made Spin Magazine's list of best pop albums of the year. The album making this list really makes me wonder what the sales (for the album and the singles) would have been if it had been properly pushed throughout the summer until now because Hilary could have easily continued to do promotion while filming Younger.

It's really sad she paid the album dust, I'm sure it would have performed decently. Even we didn't expect her to do 33k first week, she was #3 in sales in the States! She was #1 on iTunes for like 3 days and Sparks debuted in the Hot 100... with ONLY 3 DAYS OF PROMO. So yes, she could have had a much more successful 2015 comeback.

What's very mysterious though is why would someone just drop an album they worked on for almost 2 years and just disappear? Seriously wtf

Because she was having issues with management behind the scenes which caused her some discouragement. There's no point holding onto BIBO because what's done is done, let's look forward to the year ahead.

I've said this before, but I think This Heart (among others) being left off of BIBO was a huge blow for Hilary, since it was about Luca. I can kinda understand why she'd be discouraged after that. She worked hard on this record, only for most of the songs that made it to be from the Sweden sessions, which she didn't cowrite. The album still feels very personal imo, but I'm sure she didn't have as much of an emotional connection, to some of the songs that made it, than she did with the songs she cowrote.

The songs you're talking about were left off after the big flop of CTS and AAY so she's is responsible for this !
She wrote AAY right ? why didn't she promote it at all ?

AAY isn't the best example because she flew to Australia and Canada to promote it.
Sparks only got one performance to solely promote it (Ellen), because the others were during album release week, so they were more so to promote the album. I think the Sparks promo was the worst.
Plus, Hilary doesn't book her own promo appearances. For some reason they only booked ABC shows in the US for both AAY & Sparks their promo.

I was referring to her interview on "The Social" in Canada. I was just pointing out that AAY was the only song that she promoted outside of the US, which showed more of an interest, to me at least.
I agree that she should've started in the US, but I thought it was nice for the Australian fans.
