Well no, because no one knew about B'Day except her and the involved producers/writers. It was all her, unfiltered and unedited. She also explicitly stated that she did not want to do a repeat of Crazy In Love or anything else that she had done.
Truly, the only reason I think Bey didn't consider B'Day a classic would be because it's the hardest for her to relate to, or go back into the headspace she was in when she recorded it. It's a really erratic, angry and cathartic record...about a relationship pretty much devoid of love. I don't think it resonates with her as much as it once did...
