I swear everytime I went to my grandparents house for Summer for a damn month or two I didn't listen to Pop music AT ALL. They had me listening to that wack Jazz **** the whole time.

I don't need to listen to it everyday for months when I live and have grown up in a city where the music is popular. Jazz can appeal to people other than old people. Jazz also uses more than the saxophone and it can be just as innovative and interesting as any genre. You listen to one type of jazz; that's probably why you are so bored.

Pretty much my entire childhood was like that. My dad raised me on classical music and my mom raised me on oldies and alt. rock. I really didn't even become that aware of pop until like 2008.

Or there was just periods where my mom would just listen to her old albums EVERYDAY.

Like all my family is obsessed with non-Pop music. One of my aunts/uncles ONLY listens to Christian music, another only listens to Old Hip-Hop, and one of my Uncle's doesn't listen to the radio period and just plays Hardcore Hip-Hop.
It's not released yet, but yes, you can already call it a flop. During TD she didn't even have to announce the next singles and radio stations were starting to play those songs on their own
