Student teaching here is at the end of your college degree. So you graduate at 18.... go to school for 4 years at least and get your degree.... then you do student teaching.

No, that's how it is. I didn't do the typical program though.
I'm not going to college for teaching but before I started in my Radiology program I had a chance to go into classrooms and kinda get a feel for it (I'm still debating whether or not to switch into Education) and for like the last half of 2nd semester I took over a K5 class. Weird, I know.
My kids adored me for some reason.
