There are all my takes on the songs:
Crybaby - She's saying she cries a lot, in a lot of situations. If something bad happened to someone else, she cries. She has no friends because she's too damn emotional. I tried seeing if there was more to the song, but I really can't see any "deeper" meaning in this one.
Dollhouse - Her family seems perfect on the outside, like a lot of families, but everyone has their own problems. The dad cheats on mom, the mom has a drinking problem, her brother is a stoner, but in public they all fake it and make themselves look like they all have it together.
Sippycup - Drugs and alcohol abuse in her family along with more problems. The song is literally dollhouse pt.2. Dad sells and smokes oxycontin and is cheating on his wife, the wife knows he's doing all that and drinks her pain away, and with both of them gone in drugs and alcohol, the family is falling apart, and the kids are depressed.
Carousel - It's a metaphor for how she's chasing after a real relationship with a guy, but they keep going in circles, making no real progress (round and round). No love is coming out of their partnership, but they're still staying together because she wants there to be more.
Alphabet Boy - This new live interest pretty much was like, I "I went to college; I got a degree and you're just singing at little clubs. You need a real job." And she was like, "I'm smart, and you may have book smarts, but I have common sense, and i can get **** done, unlike you."
Soap - She keeps saying things she wish she didn't say. Idk about what, maybe as a kid or maybe in a relationship.
Training Wheels - Sex sex sex. She's been dating a guy for a while, she wants to ride him, he doesn't know f he's ready for that, and she IS READY.
Pity Party - No one showed up for her party and she's upset? I don't know get the "hidden meaning" in this one.
Tag, You're It - To me it sounded like some creeper abducted her tbh. But i don't know, maybe it's about guys harassing girls and won't let up; then when girls complain about it no one ever listens.
Milk and Cookies - I think it's about being addicted to sleeping meds and never wanting to wake up. I really don't know though.
Pacify Her - She's talking to a guy who's in a relationship with a girl he doesn't really like much, but won't break up with. Melanie wants to be with him, and the other girl found out and is throwing a fit, and Melanie is like "Boy, make your bitch shut up and calm down."
Mrs. Potato Head - Girls doing everything they can to change their bodies to be "pretty" by spending thousand of dollars and going through surgeries and stupid stuff when you should be happy in your own body.
Mad Hatter - I don't think there is a bigger picture in this song, she just wrote about her and he frineds being crazy fun and not boring, with play on words and comparisons to "Alice in Wonderland."
Play Date - She's acting like she doesn't have feelings for her **** buddy, but she actually does.
Teddy Bear - Her old bae was awesome, then he became very abusive and went psycho.
Cake - She want to be with this guy, but all he wants to do it sleep with her. He doesn't see her as anything except a good time when she thinks they could have a really good relationship.
