Actually I just read it up. It wasn't the fastest but because of the really low bounce it seems faster than it is. That is true that Ferrer gets EVERYTHING back and top spin would be better to use against him. But top spin on grass wouldn't be as effective because grass has a low bounce so top spin on it might put the ball back in the wheelhouse of Ferrer.

They only showed the last two games because most of the airtime was given to Murray and Ferrer. It was a straight sets win 6-4 6-3 over Mattek-Sands/Mirza. From the last two games Serena and Venus looked like they were playing in the year 2000, extra fine tennis from both. They have to face Kops-Jones/Spears Quarters and the number 1 seeds in the semis. Idk when though
