That's only when it's on Overload status that we can view the forum, correct, Kworb?

so does that mean we can stop seeing the OC messages or have yall not implemented that option yet?

You should not be seeing any since you have ATRL+.
Let me quote Athens here since some seem to have missed the post in the other thread.

Hello World,
I want to clarify a few things; specifically on the OC bypass. We quietly added this feature as a way of helping our mods and existing ATRL+ members. This capability wasn't announced because it's not official, nor was it intended to boost ATRL+ sales. No one should have to pay for a functional site and we don't recommend anyone subscribe for that purpose alone. Of course, every subscription does help and we will continue to use the funds to cover upcoming upgrades.
I also want to restate that all current and former ATRL+ subscribers will be eligible for a special giveaway in the next iteration of ATRL and will be invited to the beta version.
We have been working to make sure that this will be the last month of the unbearable lag that has plagued the forum for several months now. We currently have 2 solutions in progress to ensure relief - the first is a hired technician and the second will be announced next week on the 17th.
I will be back to take some questions later today.
Thanks

Everytime there's no "recent thread" bar on top of the page, it means regular members are seeing the OC message, while ATRL+ members are able to browse the site normally.

Depends where you post it. It's not a flamebait gif on its own but in certain threads it could be.

So you can stop arguing and playing mind games with each other on Twitter.

Privacy needs to be protected. Everyone can 100% agree to that. That being said, it's a big problem that the two rules (privacy violation and account sharing) that carry the harshest punishments (six month bans) are not listed in the Rules & Guidelines. The punishment for those two rules are too steep to not be clearly displayed within the Rules & Guidelines so that there is no confusion to new and existing members on ATRL. When you receive a warning from ATRL-o-matic, it directs you to the Rules & Guidelines, not to some obscure part of the forum that tells you can get banned for six months if you share your account with your friend or post someone else's photo. Those two rules must, without a doubt, be added to the Rules & Guidelines. If I was a new member, I wouldn't even know those two rules existed, let alone know where to look for those two unlisted rules on the website other than in Rules & Guidelines.

FORREAL! I don't think Misty knew posting his pic would get him a 6 month ban.

i disagree
Lil Misty was a regular here in HQ and had to have known about it...he probably just slipped up and didn't think about what he was doing when he was banned

Some things are just common sense, they don't have to be stated explicitly in the rules and guidelines. When you post someone's picture without their consent, you know what you're doing is wrong.

The "Offensive" warning -- You've said something racist, homophobic, or otherwise discriminatory -- is also common sense, but is included within the Rules & Guidelines. And to assume everyone has common sense is ridiculous, because let's face it, people are idiots. Regardless, this is not about "having common sense," it's about being clear and avoiding confusion or "surprise." And again, those two unlisted rules (privacy violation and account sharing) carry the harshest penalty (before a permanent ban) and should be clearly displayed within the Rules & Guidelines solely for that reason alone. It's a bit unfathomable how those two rules are unlisted, when the penalty is so high for them both. A new member could be taunted or tricked by an older member into posting someone else's photo and then effectively banned for six months, with the new member not even knowing the steep consequences of those actions, despite whether it's common sense or not.

Obviously but they won't know how harsh the reprimand will be, it doesn't hurt to include them in the guidelines.

If you're volatile enough to do something like that then better to just be removed from the forum. Being here is a privilege, not a right. We're not going to make a list of everything that could get you banned immediately.

When concerning those two specific unlisted
rules, I disagree -- they should be listed. I digress.
