ATRL RECURRENT SONGS
RIHANNA AND CALVIN HARRIS FIND NEW RECORD WITH THEIR RECURRENT SONG
With the latest (and necessary) adjustment to the Recurrent Songs chart Rihanna and Calvin Harris set a new
record: She's the first act ever to top both the ATRL Hot 100 and Recurrent Songs charts. On the issue dated as
January 14, "We Found Love" went up 2-1, crowning the main chart for that week. 'Love' kept on charting the Hot
100 during 31 weeks and surprisingly it's still charting on the Airplay/Streaming Songs chart this week at no. 11.
With the new rules taking over we got a lot of new debuts (that wouldn't have debuted with the old formula), most
notably the arrival at #02: Kelly Clarkson's "Stronger (What Doesn't Kill You)", the song that is holding the record
of most weeks atop ATRL's chart (7 weeks), will she be able to claim that feat on this ranking as well?.

*Recurrent Songs shows the most popular tracks of the week that have fallen off the ATRL Hot 100 after at least 20 charting weeks. But if the songs didn't have a good chart-run after their at-least-25-weeks-ago Debut: they must have been released at least 6 months ago as singles and be below the 150th position in order to be able to chart. If a song that wasn't released as a single could chart, the album (or wherever it belongs) had to be released at least a year ago, and the album mustn't be under heavy promotion now (this means, there mustn't be active new singles to promote the album, the era must be over. Ongoing tours don't count). If a track returns to the Main Chart because of re-releases or sudden resurgence in popularity then they will be retired from the Recurrent Status as long as they're charting on the Hot 100.

RAP SONGS
PITBULL AND SHAKIRA GET THEIR RUN STARTED
B.o.B. and Taylor Swift stop the 7 non-consecutive weeks Kanye West domination. Both of them get their
first chart-topper on Rap Songs (last week they ruled on the R&B/Hip-Hop Songs chart; new issue will be
posted later). Just like on the R&B/Hip-Hop Songs chart, Taylor being a pop/country star got her number
one being featured on a rapper's song; the other non-rapper acts that have reached the top on here are:
Sia ("Wild Ones"), Rihanna ("Take Care") and Lazy Jay (Real stage name is Basto, "212); all of them as
featured artists. This week other non-rappers stars make their debut as along with lead rap acts: Shakira
accompanying Pitbull on "Get It Started" (#13), and lead artist, Mariah Carey with "Triumphant (Get 'Em)",
featuring Rick Ross and Meek Mill. if this song reached the summit, Mariah would become the first non-
rapper top the chart.

RHYTHMIC URBAN
THE CHART TURNS UP THE RADIO
Madonna makes her first arrival to the Rhythmic Urban Songs chart (#30) with "Turn Up the Radio", while
her "Give Me All Your Luvin'" friend Nicki Minaj claims the biggest jump of the week, as she goes 13-6 in
her 5th week on the chart. Everything seems clear for Minaj, she will most likely reach the top five on the
next week. Above her, at #04 and #05 are sitting Jennifer López (and Wisin & Yandel) with the former
number-one hit "Follow the Leader" and Flo Rida with the this-week-static "Whistle", respectively, both of
them are the artists who own the Hot Shot Debut title this time: "Goin' In" (#27).

Yes, it fell off after 25 charting weeks, and right now it's not that easy for it to return to
the chart because its points are really low, so according to the rules:

ACTIVE ROCK SONGS
"SOME NIGHTS" STAYS AT THE TOP FOR A FOURTH WEEK
Coldplay debuts their third song on Active Rock Songs at #15; "Hurts Like Heaven" serves as the 5th single
off Mylo Xyloto. Two more of these singles have charted before: "Charlie Brown" (which peaked at no. 2) and
"Princess of China" (featuring Rihanna) that's still charting and has also peaked at no. 2 so far. 'China' has
spent five non-consecutive weeks in the runner-up position. "Kill Your Heroes" by AWOLNATION goes up to
the top ten once again, after falling off the top tier two weeks ago.

Florence + The Machine gets the #01 on the Indie Top, dethroning Ellie Goulding, who spent 7 weeks atop the tally. "Spectrum (Say My Name)" debuted at no. 12 on the issue dated July 14 and now 6 weeks later it finally reached the pinnacle. American Idol winner, Phillip Phillips, claims the Hot Shot Debut title with "Home" (#17), song played during the 2012 London Olympics. "Home" is set to rise next week, as its points have been increasing week after week. Passion Pit debuts its second song on the ranking, "I'll Be Alright" (#20). ALTERNATIVE SONGS
FUN. GETS SOME MORE WEEKS ATOP
"Some Nights" by fun. darkens Of Monsters and Men reign, as it recovers the penthouse (2-1). 'Nights' surpasses the act's previous number-one hit's ruling weeks, as the latter spent just two frames at the pinnacle. Meanwhile, Florence + The Machine gets closer to the top, reaching finally the top three (4-3) in its 11th charting week. Alex Clare's "Too Close" closes the top five (6-5) while Ellie Goulding cracks into the top ten for the first time. The biggest jump of the week belongs to The xx, as "Angels" flies five positions (35-30). Without any surprise we receive Phillip Phillips at #37, who also made his debut on the Indie Top. Last but not least, Hedley arrives with "Kiss You Inside Out" at the bottom of the list (#40).

REGIONAL MEXICAN
THE GREATEST AMOUNT OF DEBUTS IN ONE WEEK
This is the week with more new entries (so far): 6 debuts. The previous number was "4", on the issue dated as August 4. Also in this week, one of the songs gains the highest debut record, as "Hasta la Eternidad" by La Auténtica de Jerez arrives at #08. Previously, the highest new entry mark was set by Banda el Recodo de Cruz Lizárraga, who started at no. 8 on, yes, August 4. Both of that week's record have been broken by this new list. 3BallMTY, América Sierra and Smoky hold at the top. Meanwhile, the former number-one holder Calibre 50 flies 8-2 with "El Buen Ejemplo", looking for its third chart-topper.

Well, considering the song has been out since December 2011, I'd say it's time for it to die down
