This year’s wild card contestant has been branded a diva by show staff thanks to his cocky antics backstage.

And even his mentor Gary Barlow, 41, is not particularly keen on working with him.
But we can reveal that the Scouse singer is topping the public vote by a large margin as his city gets behind their only home-grown contender in the competition.
Liverpool beauty Rebecca Ferguson, 26, confessed during Sunday’s results show that she “had” to vote for him because he’s a Scouser.
A show insider said: “Liverpool has clearly come out in force to back their man because we’re not sure who else is.
“He’s not particularly liked backstage because he’s a diva and thinks he’s the star of the show.
“And let’s face it, he’s not that great when he gets out on stage either.
“Most people reckon his nerves are a complete act too because it’s funny how he’s shaking one minute and then suddenly he’s fine.”
