I'm sorry, but personally, U2's release method infuriates me because it's so obvious they did it for the attention. They were one of the few musical acts brave enough to surprise-release an album after Beyoncé, and not only that, but it's free and as a result, they've sold like, 500 million copies in one day. That's ridiculous and it's not really fair, either. I don't know.... It's clever, I'll give them that. But it's so obvious they're doing it for the attention.
I just realized that Beyoncé's album and U2's album were both surprise-released and both feature music that was either co-written or produced by Ryan Tedder. 25 is next! ()
Paul Epworth the legendary producer is just killing it
I can already forsee him snatching that AoTY Grammy ,all the albums he produced are likely candidates. Ghost Stories by Coldplay (The most likely winner imo), Ultraviolence by Lana, This U2 (probably not eligible though ), LP1 (a highly critically acclaimed album which could be used as a filler for a spot) and New by Paul McCartney. Only a badass non-generic producing legend

I know sometimes you're scared of the light
But how will you ever know if you never try?
There's something new inside my heart
And it grabs like a child whenever we're apart
So let's go back, back to the star
You know I'm never gonna leave you
You're the only one I want
Let's go back there, back to the star
You know I'm never gonna leave you
You're the only one I want
