Agreed. I know some people who were kind of turned away from her Monster era, but know some people who became attracted to her soley because of that era. I'm glad that the TFM was not extremly similar to TF era because then why release a new album? Would seem forced to me.

Thank god for that! I'm sorry, I know some of you enjoyed the snippet, but that would be one HOT mess if it ended up sounding like that. That's like early 00s cheap European trance. I would be seriously disappointed if Gaga went that route.

I expect it to have touches of rock but in the end being an anthemic pop record with the dance beats characterized by any Garibay/RedOne productions. I expect the main gem off of Born This Way (the single) to be the lyrics, even more than the production and melody, which are sure to be top notch.

I knew that snippet was fake. I mean it is interesting how these 'Born This Way' snippets keep appearing, but there is the stronger likelihood of a track we have not heard yet leaking. With Born This Way being the only confirmed track, other than You and I, people are making up randoms!!!

I do have the same fear that Born That Way will be preachy. I really hope she can pull it off. I don't think she'll disappoint.

Hmm... I expect them to tackle some religious themes, which, personally, I'm dying for her to do, but I think it will ultimately go way beyond religion. I don't care if it tops Bad Romance or not, I just hope people embrace it for what it is because it will be good music for sure. Gaga doesn't put out sh*t (see: The Fame Monster). Same can't be said about The Fame. Although 90% is awesome, there are some duds, with the biggest question mark being Nothing Else I Can Say. That song has no business there. It's like a glitch on the album.

Let's not forget the most improtant thing: Gaga is a musical genius. She is not only a great lyricist and piano player, but she knows a LOT about music. She has extremely good taste and I believe she finally has the resources and the freedom to put out something right up her alley. At the same time, she's very smart and knows exactly what her monsters want.

I have full belief in this album and its inevitable impact in pop history. Gaga's just way too big at the moment.

The foundation of Gaga's career has been mixing the mainstream with the underground. What is so moving about the Monster Ball is listening to Gaga stand up for gay rights, making gay-savvy jokes and having guys kissing on stage when she has straight, gay, bi, old, young, black, white people in the audience. The way she makes it so easy to mix things that seem so far apart is so impressive it's moving.

You know, she, more than anyone else, understands the power of pop music of bringing people together. If you actually have a good cause and want to change the world, than even better.

You can basically sing about anything in pop music, because what initially strikes you is the catchiness of the song. If Gaga does an insanely catchy and brilliant pop record about discrimination and the hypocrisy of the catholic church, then bring it on. Even better. If there's anyone who can pull it off, it's Gaga.

It's interesting how she keeps talking about this album being liberating, because her show succeeds at doing that. It's really exhilarating. If she can channel that into this album, it will be beyond compare. Not an easy task.

Yeah, the show is SO intense. You feel like a brand new person after it. It's quite remarkable.

By the way, what would you say was the biggest moment of the show? To me, personally, it was You and I because of how emotional she was and all of us were. Close seconds would have to be Lovegame and Alejandro because they are epic from start to finish and the choreography's are genius (and the live violin during Alejandro is DEATH), but the whole show is so good that I don't wanna leave anything aside. Even her lesser known songs she finds a way of making them better. Like Boys Boys Boys with teh craziest and coolest choreography just with her dancers in the ring is so good.

Bad Romance. It was so intense, and there were so many people screaming and jumping and singing that I missed that this even happened

I'm expecting it to be a grower. I think when we first hear it people won't know what to think, but about a week later everybody will love it (hopefully).
