3) They voted 93% identically while in the Senate together. Hillary has adopted plenty from Bernie's campaign to make sure that his supporters were heard by her. Bernie has also endorsed her platform and candidacy, so I'll take her opinion over some bitter soul on ATRL.

Lets not be dense. As if the emails were the be and end all of corruption. If they are so comfortable saying things like that on record, I could only imagine what agreements transpired over the phone or face to face.

I hope you know better than to flaunt that 93% voting record figure as if the 93% of those vote didn't account for trivial non factors bills concerning how many chickens are allowed to cross the road and things of that nature. Not to feed that Bernie troll but Hillary won the popular vote against phenomenon Obama. I don't think Bernie was ever any competition.

Although all the emails and foundation negative coverage she started getting after the primaries really hurt her appeal with those long-time democrats who always supported her. The medias will have no one to blame but themselves if they find themselves under a repressive Trump regime.

Hillary has been getting it from the right and the left the last year. The "she's corrupt" attack from the primary did bad things to her. Might have been mitigated had Bernie dropped out sooner but alas.

But I don't know that anyone could've predicted that the press would bend over for Trump like this.

For sure, but not to the extent to which she was getting it a month ago. I mean news channels used to discuss her emails and foundation 24/7. A month later, still no definite evidence of any of their "raised questions". That's the tactic the medias used to tighten the polls so that they can have a horse race. Unfortunately for us, it seems the polls didn't stop tightening once the medias stopped their ******** a week ago. Of course, her 9/11 health episode didn't help. And now the two bombs and mall attack. Lettuce pray tbh cause we're in it for a big mess.

I signed up to phonebank on Thurs because why not. This is a base election...whoever's base decides to show up will win. I see a lot of liberal apathy after all of the negative press (which is dumb and why liberals stay losing). We'll see how it shakes out after the debates.

I didn't expect it to be this low, though. I guess I had SOME faith in the press. That was folly on my part. The President of Mexico basically calls him a liar yet the trip was considered a win. Just going to a black church is classified as "BREAKING NEWS." And Trump still insults them. The media is like a battered wife when it comes to him.

He was having pretty good coverage before that point with the media focused on Hillary's bad week. After that incident they completely turned on him. If his response to the birther controversy was a calculated move, it was a bad one.

And have you seen his tweets this week? He's been acting anything but polite. The dog has quite clearly been let off the leash. Poor Conway.

He won the primary debates thanks to his experience of reality television. He played to the audience, insulted other candidates and knew how to be the centre of attention (always a plus in a crowded field).

Unfortunately for him, that strategy is a bit useless in a one-on-one debate with Clinton. We already know she will run circles around him on policy and he won't have the audience to fall back on this time. He will probably resort to talking about her trustworthiness and honesty, but Clinton no doubt has some zingers prepared in order to respond to whatever he says.

He won the first two, and was pounded in all the rest (he had to skip the Iowa one bc he couldn't take Marco and Ted). The SC one was especially bad
