I seriously think Hilary has SOMETHING there as an actress, the problem is Hollywood is so typical about wanting to keep an actor/actress in a box that they really have to fight through that to make sure they play a wide variety of characters. That's the thing, we know she does (reviews of her performance in War Inc., Bloodworth, According to Greta, and heck even Stay Cool), but she really needs the opportunity. That's why it's so vital that TV Land steps up the promo a bit for Season 2. The cast needs to be on all the big shows, and I really think a Viacom deal with the premiere airing on every Viacom-owned cable network like what they did with Trevor Noah's talk show would be huge.
If the show does well, that means more opportunity for H. An icing on the cake would be if another big name, respected actor/actress like John Cusack takes an interest in giving her a chance. I know you're not the biggest fan of her, but someone with major clout like Elizabeth Banks would be ideal. H could easily pass as her younger sister. And the best part is we know she likes H. A supporting role is all she needs to get her foot back in the door of the feature film industry.
