You get something to look forward to each day for a whole week and you get some time to appreciate and let each song grow on you. You don't think that kills the anticipation? I feel like it does. I like to listen to albums in their entirety. For me it's an experience.
I do wonder if she'd be releasing the album track by track if DW was performing better. They're obviously trying to build some momentum since it's not.
btw, had she streamed the whole album on itunes a week in advance, you'd have some time to appreciate each song and let them grow on you. The only down side is people can rip it, but it's gonna leak anyway. Pre-stream would have been great for me because I'm on the fence and wont buy the album until I listen to it entirely not piece by piece.
