I couldn't afford Record Store Day this year. I went down to see what was there, and I got really sad because it was all so expensive and I just don't have that kind of money to spare
Last night I told myself that "naah, I'm not getting anything this year after spending $33 on the Vroom Vroom vinyl", but OF COURSE I COULDN'T RESIST WHEN MY LOCAL STORE HAD WHAT I WANTED FOR A REASONABLE PRICE

Perfect prices tbh. I might get The Hills if they still have it in store next month.
Got Madonna, Disney, The Weeknd and Skrillex & Diplo. I didn't want to spend an extra $50 on Joan Jett and Bowie. I know that Purpose will never sell if I want that in the future
I bought Dead Can Dance's 'Anastasis' green 2x LP (one of 1,500) and The Weeknd's 'The Hills Remixes,' neither of which I particularly wanted. I had my eye on a single 'Like a Virgin & Other Hits' that was on the shelf, but someone took it before I got to it. the struggles of living in a smaller market, where the stock was probably practically nonexistant.
When I first walked into the store they were having a buy one get one sale so I grabbed a Tina Turner one as I assumed I would buy something (the selection was from ones that would never sell like country music from the 50's ).
I looked around and saw the 10" of Andrew McMahon and The Wilderness - The Canyons EP on the shelf so I was like 'Ok so this store didn't hold mine for me since I doubt they ordered more than one' so I got it and asked if they had the items and they had The Weeknd - The Hills Remixes for me but they didn't have the Justin Bieber Purpose picture disc so I had a moment on whether or not to get it because the ones on the racks had bent the plastic sleeve since it's so flimsy but the owner got me on that was on hold for another customer
Had no idea the Vroom Vroom vinyl was even up for preorder let alone AUTOGRAPHED
Just snatched one though
I went to my local record store today & got some goodies (no vinyl though)
They had a bunch of cool stuff on the free cart (Got a free signed Cheek To Cheek booklet... don't ask me how or why... it was just sitting on the cart so I obviously took it)
Also got a free Gwen Stefani poster & then bought Grace Mitchell's Raceday on CD which was a RSD exclusive
Nothing really of interest to me in terms of vinyl out this year though. They had a bunch of everything left when I went. I was debating getting the F&TM one but decided not to. I'm sure they'll still have some if i end up going back tomorrow
