Maybe instead of saying 'African Americans this' and 'African Americans that', how about 'the majority of African Americans feel they owe a debt of gratitude to the Clintons and, more specifically, Hilary'. I would agree with that. However, it's not the case that the majority of African Americans will vote blindly for Hilary. I don't think it's appropriate to make African Americans sound like a group of sheep who blow where the wind takes them. Most Americans are elaborately involved with the byzantine intricacies of American politics.

Same difference? The majority of voters are not elaborately involved in politics, that includes African Americans.

I talked to four black people in their 60's. Three of them will be voting for Hillary, the other said he doesn't want to vote for a woman

No most Americans are not, if that was the case candidates would not spend collectively 100's millions on 30 second attack ads. In my opinion the majority of Americans are low information voters. African Americans by and large vote Democrat regardless of the candidate and it is part of the reason they get left in the dust every 4 years wonder what happened. Democrats know they have them on lock and Republicans know it's very difficult to peel away votes. Why blacks keep voting Democrat and see no change, even when we elect a black president, is beyond me.

I had two dreams last night. Both being on Election night. One about Hillary, and another where where MY husband was running for President (so I was running for First Lady) and this couple who are friends of mine were running against
us
It's safe to say Politics have taken over my brain.

Vice President Joe Biden “has 51 days to decide on a presidential bid — that is, if he wants to appear on the New Hampshire primary ballot,” the Los Angeles Times reports.
“The filing period for candidates who wish to contest the nation’s first presidential primary will begin Nov. 4 and remain open until 5 p.m. on Nov. 20… Qualifying for the ballot is intentionally easy, as state tradition demands — a candidate or a representative simply needs to submit a completed declaration of candidacy form and provide the filing fee of $1,000, in cash or certified check. Any candidate who hasn’t filed by Nov. 20 must appear in person to do so, however.”

Obamacare is probably the most significant thing any US President of the last 30 years has done for low-income African Americans and Americans in general.

If Hillary wins South Carolina, Alabama, Arkansas, Georgia, North Carolina, Oklahoma, Tennessee, Texas, Kansas, Mississippi, West Virginia, Kentucky (the south), along with Nevada, Michigan, Illinois, Missouri, New York, Maryland, California, New Mexico, and Florida (leaving Bernie Iowa, New Hampshire, Massachusetts, Minnesota, Nebraska, Vermont, Maine, Ohio, Arizona, Utah, Idaho, Alaska, Hawaii, Washington, Wisconsin, Wyoming, Connecticut, Delaware, Penn., Rhode Island, Indiana, Oregon, Montana, Jersey, North & South Dakota and D.C.), the nomination is hers.
I have faith, HC!

That's is subjective in numerous ways. And even with healthcare (which helps the poor, not necessarily African Americans), the black community is at it's worst economically in decades and crime through the roof.

My (black) grandma said she plans on voting for Hillary. My (white) grandpa said that he wants Joe Biden to run.

So many damn people We got there kinda late so we were at the way back and I cohld barely see him but something like 4000 werent let inside because the place was at capacity. He came outside after his speech and gave a short talk where I got to see him a lot better. Have so much hope for him

I wish the Democratic party had a young, fresh-but-not-too-fresh, fairly attractive, preferably some military experience, very 'all american' candidate. Basically a young Biden. Hopefully we'll find him by 2024.
And hopefully he's single so I can come through and SNATCH my FLOTUS title.

d; Bye? If you don't like the content, post your own. When another candidate does something interesting, they'll make the thread title.
