I agree with your whole post Lana Del Rey. Cassie doesnt want it, she's doing it for fun, as a hobby and that's devastating to CassieArmy, but whoever follows her knows we shouldnt expect anything besides flaw-free music everytime it drops. Her lame leak once in a year is better than most of the music out there. might be unfair and sad, but I dont care since Im not bored with her old material and Im listening to it almost every day for 5 years now lol. I dont know who said it but its pretty much true - Cassie already lives as an A-list star, why would she try? lol. I mean, I, as a woman ask myself, how any woman can be happy with it, why wouldnt you want more, than living on somebody else's name. If I were in her shoes, I wouldnt like to be potrayed as someone's girlfriend/wife, you know what I mean? but its enough to her and Im accepting that.
I think her first album had some decent cuts but now she is only coming with lackluster material and honestly her voice does not move me at all, it has no range at all, I just can't feel what she is singing, her voice is so monotone.
She is stunningly beatiful and Victoria Secret should really hire her as model, she would kill all these models with her extraordinary looks!
