^^^ I may have misspoken. I do think she's a very good songwriter (rather, she CAN be), I just don't think she's amazing.
even though I do personally like the direction she took with UV and so far am ok with it for HM, I understand when people say the epic feel or how good the music was with BTD and P is gone. I completely see that. She has to evolve though,
ya she definitely CAN be an incredible writer, she just has a few songs in her discography that are lazy imo. but she also has a ton that are incredible.

Now, I eventually grew to like the HBHBHB cover, but I don't think anyone wants any cover to look like HBHBHB's
I get what you're saying though. If it were a nice picture, I wouldn't mind, but I like the consistency of the font and styling she's had on her album covers so far
I'm a huge Lana fan and was anticipating this song very much since all her lead singles are heavenly, but I don't know if it's the quality of the leak but to me it feels flat on the production, like cheap. Like that's the same instrumentation a black rapper like Lil Wayne or Flo ri da would use in 2007. Like seriously I'm not trying to drag her since I stan hardcore for her but It's my opinion... I honestly think any song on BTD is better produced than this (Let alone UV). And it hurts me because I don't want to think like this because I love her and I want to love the song but I can't. The last time Lana made me feel something was when I heard Brooklyn Baby. I hope this song doesn't define the rest of the album production wise. And it's weird because Honeymoon the song is produced extremely well. The breathing outro is very cool.
