Right. They have got Ciara a Top 35 debut and a Top 10 Urban hit but they aren't promoting her because they won't spend a million dollars on Body Party performances? I just don't get it.

At the end of the day she will need to start some type of promo to spark interest in the album... bp is just grabbing the publics ear but i don't think its making them want to buy the album... hell i don't even think the general public knows her album is coming

I'm done with expressing common sense. Hopefully single 2 is as successful as Body Party (since that's what they're saving promo for). If not, they'll need all the promo they can get.

Never said it was. I'm saying that at this point, they (as in Ciara and her team) are doing the same thing they did with Ride. Ride was released and didn't see a televised performance right until album release promo. Her album releases on July 9th, that's around the corner. There are no scheduled performances that I'm aware of. Her advantage with Body Party, is that it's steady and updates have been positive, so that's why I'm not as worried.

I'm not trying to speak too soon, because there might be something coming up soon, but at this point, they really need to start getting the ball rolling on "Body Party". This is a special time to do it, because it is Top 10 on radio, and a performance will give the general public some more exposure to the song.
