Lady Antebellum will debut at #1 next week with a total that now appears to be well north of 300k. Adele will log her 29th non-consecutive week in the Top 3, breaking the 28 weeks set by Hootie & the Blowfish's Cracked Rear View. She will have a way to go, however, before setting the record for most weeks in the Top 3, held by Alanis Morissette's Jagged Little Pill, which logged 46 weeks. Here's how it looks headed into the weekend:
*Lady Antebellum (Capitol Nashville/EMI) 320-340k
Adele (XL/Columbia) 105-115k
Lil Wayne (Cash Money/Universal Republic) 105-115k
*Brantley Gilbert (Big Machine) 47-52k
George Strait (MCA Nashville) 40-45k
*Staind (Atlantic) 40-45k
The Beatles 1 (Capitol/EMI) 35-40k
*Dream Theater (Roadrunner) 35-40k
Jay Z & Kanye West (Roc-a-Fella/Roc Nation) 30-35k
Red Hot Chili Peppers (Warner Bros.) 28-32k
*The Devil Wears Prada (Ferrett) 28-32k
*Anthrax (Megaforce) 24-27k
Luke Bryan (Capitol Nashville/EMI) 23-27k
Foster the People (Columbia) 21-24k
Jason Aldean (Broken Bow) 21-24k
*Debuts (9/15p)

Lil Wayne (Cash Money/Universal Republic) 105-115k
Adele and Wayne will battle for #2 spot Either way they are both selling very well and are far ahead from the other competition !!!!

Agreed.
We're not even in the holiday season and 21 has scored over 100k three weeks in a row. SLY is doing its job.

LA #s are a little underwhelming, no? Following their NYN monster breakout, and in light of the fact that they appeal to album buyers, I was expecting 500k+.

"Need You Now" attracted a lot of fickle buyers too. I doubt all of them were looking out for their follow-up album.

I still don't own 21 I dl'd it illegally ...I might buy it just because I like Adele and not for the album itself (I like about half the 21 songs...maybe less)...not a bad album, just not my "scene"

Lil Wayne isn't holding up well.
Lady Antebllum's numbers are consistent at least. I feel like if We Own the Night is released it could smash pop & country & keep the album selling.

Waynes doing just fine. By week 4 he should stabilize better ! Every album drops every week it's normal more people have the album and less people buy ! As long as he stays Top 10-15 he's gonna keep selling well

I wonder how much TD's drop this week. Capitol uses every damn celebration in US to excuse themselves to discount it. Not that Katy's reputation is much, but they're pushing her off one inch at the time with each discount until she's finally off the cliff. How smart.
