Another week and another 80,000 albums sold WW....Should break the 8 million barrier next week for 2012 WW sales...an album hasn't sold this much in a single year ( apart from 2011 of course) since Green Day's "American Idiot" was on top back in 2005. Hopefully 21 will get close to 9 million by the years end.... stamping its supremacy as the biggest selling album for both 2011 and 2012

Adele's '21' climbs back at no.2 in its 83rd week on the tally despite a 5% decrease to 79.000 sales. The year-to-date sales of '21' are at 7,92 million, the total sales at 23,23 million. So it's now the second best selling album of the 21st century, behind the ingenious Beatles compilation '1' with 32 million copies sold.

So 240k to go....hopefully she can do it before the end of the year.
With only 15 weeks to go hopefully sales will hold above 15K on average... then we should get there. Even if she doesn't and it happens in Jan or Feb it will still be less than two years...it took Norah Jones 3 years for example to get there...and Usher well a wee bit longer than that...
She's about to take out the biggest selling female debut album in history
