Touring is pretty much out of the question unless they rerelease the album or release an EP, a stand-alone single, or something of that nature. But it's not very likely.
Hopefully she'll focus on movies next year.

My wishful single choices for BIBO is always changing. Right now I'd love BIBO for 2nd single, then OIAM for 3rd.

This would be great if Younger released soundtracks but they didn't for last season so I doubt they will for this one. It's sad that she clearly hasn't even been thinking of a tour and that she has done a 180 on her stance towards music. Just a few months ago she was talking about how she had lived with BIBO for a while and was looking forward to recording again and that the wait wouldn't be as long between albums. Now she is like, "..well we'll see where it goes."

She honestly should have toured ala Janet and like she did with the self-titled album, when BIBO was released. The three-day promo trip would have been fine, she would have made a ton of money off the tour (even if it was just theaters) because it would have been considered a comeback tour and that would have also boosted album sales with those attending the tour getting a preview of the new tracks.
But alas... That didn't happen. I think the movie she was in talks to be in, Path of Redemption really ****ed her over (that's not all of course). It was supposed to start shooting in July but because they couldn't secure financing, she couldn't commit to a tour and even though the plot sucked, now she won't even be in it. But a tour during album release probably wasn't in the cards anyways even though R5 basically did it.
It sucks because Andre seems like the type of manager that sticks to whatever artist is promoting like glue and then takes care of the other artist right after and that's exactly what he did in Hilary's and R5's case when their album releases were less than one month apart... One has to wonder if that's another reason why BIBO got the shaft as R5 toured all summer...

This is exactly why I no longer have hope for a tour, even last month-august I still had hope god knows why though. I mean she doesn't even hint at it anymore, as she did in the early summer. So it's obviously out of the question.

Their current tour has been going on since early July and doesn't end till mid October. Hilary is gonna be knee-deep in the middle of shooting Younger at that time. Then they resume touring in late January right when Hilary will be promoting Season 2 of Younger. They won't finish that second US leg of their tour until mid March, and more dates are gonna be announced soon in other countries...

I have definitely noticed over the past year that when R5 is promoting that he is ALL about R5. I honestly think he always had Hilary as his cash cow and when she stopped doing music he kept pleading with her to come back so he could make money again. When she finally did, he had a new up and coming band that could keep his income rolling so Hilary wasn't as necessary anymore.
He isn't very good, from what I've seen, at juggling two artists at once BUT if Hilary really wanted to do more with the album and Andre was holding it back, I think she would have switched managers. As an adult, Hilary doesn't seem to have problems telling people no.

I'm loving this discussion right now. I've been so aggravated with Hilary & the whole situation these past few days, so it's awesome to come here and see some great discussion going on. I feel like there is SO much potential music AND acting wise that is being wasted, and that became so much clearer to me once she was removed from the IMDB page of Mother's Day.

+ BIBO outsold R5's album first week, didn't it? So it makes absolutely no sense whatsoever why Andre doesn't hype Hil. Even during BIBO's release week his Twitter activity was lackluster. But I feel like it has always been like that. He's always tweeted about R5 and with their fans. The whole situation is almost comical. Does he really lack such awareness that he doesn't know how bad it looks to constantly tweet about one client, but constantly pay the other one dust? Or is there another factor/interference behind the scenes, whether it be from Hilary herself or RCA, that's making him keep a tight lid on what he tweets about Hilary? It's just absolutely ridiculous that he would think that it's ok. I mean it could be just that R5 are really passionate about their music and Hilary really isn't right now, so that is translating to Andre.

Were the talks/negotiations for that movie ever really that deep? I feel like they just put her on their IMDb page to gain initial interest. I don't think it was ever in the cards for Hilary cause if she wanted to, I'm sure they would've bent over backwards to have her in it.
I feel like the tour not happening is because of the combination of Luca and Younger. And that isn't meant in a bitter or resentful way towards Luca or Younger, cause I love Younger (and Luca), and obviously Hilary is gonna do what she feels is best and most realistic for her and her family.
EDIT: I just read your post again, and it's funny cause I actually never thought of it as a "comeback tour". I definitely thought of this era as a comeback for Hilary, but I never thought about how the supposed tour would've benefited in terms of it being a comeback tour. That's really an interesting thing to think about...
