Listen, the Taylor Swift stans here are ****ing NUTS. They have this cult- like devotion to Taylor and they'll go after anyone who says anything about Taylor that can be construed as even remotely negative. Avoid them at all costs. I know I said we're just having fun and it's a sign of bonding and ha ha ha, but seriously, they will f***ing END YOU if you look at them funny. Never, ever post in a thread related to Taylor Swift unless you plan on singing her praises, or you will risk inciting their collective, deadly wrath.

I am waiting for some UK media going first page to write about BRITISH actor Douglas Booth gave Taylor "Cold Shoulder", it will be super funny if they use my LOCAL newspaper New York Daily News as SOURCE. Will they be so stupid? Let's see!

Well, Scott denied that the album title will be about roses, he said nothing about the concept. So... anything is possible.

Help needed for my blog: does anyone here know the link to a November interview (either CMA or AMA) in which a reporter told Taylor she was extremely sick but flawlessly performed at her NASHVILLE show?

Anything good for Stadium shows, I think her new album will be written for stadium performances, she mentioned about drum track many times. Excited!

Pink could easily do stadiums instead of like 60 arenas, but yeah I think she likes it more intimate. Gaga could have easily done the same stadiums that Taylor did instead of arena shows for the BTWB, but now that she's flopping harder in Australia than anywhere else, I don't think she'll do stadiums for ArtRAVE.

Lorde praising Taylor
Quote:
Tavi: Who are some of your favorite performers to watch? I guess we kind of talked about Arcade Fire and Phoenix.
Lorde: Yeah, I love watching both those people. I really love watching James Blake, it’s super restrained and he doesn’t really even do anything but I think that makes small things magnified, when someone is just like, sitting in a chair and playing. I think Grace Jones is really cool, I’ve never actually seen her live but all the footage I’ve seen is really incredible. And of course Stevie Nicks. Justin Vernon from Bon Iver is super cool to see live as well. And I almost forgot about Taylor! ****! Taylor is like—you’ve seen her, right?
Tavi: Yeah!
Lorde: Unbelievable. I love the part when the guy’s playing the drums that light up but like, on the wires? And moving in the air? I was like, this is the best. And she is so good as a performer because I don’t think people realize how difficult a stadium is to perform in. You have to change how you move and how you talk to accommodate that scale, and she is SO good at that, it’s like it’s natural when she does it. I’m so in awe of her ability, it’s insane.
Tavi: She makes everyone feel like she’s singing to them individually. The second time I saw her I was standing next to this guy and he started talking all casually like, [bro voice] “Yeah I met the tour manager at some party and she gave me some comps, thought I’d bring my girlfriend or whatever,” and by the end of the show, he was like SO into it. I was like, I know you know all the words to “Never Ever.”
Tavi: I feel though like that loneliness, that emotion, can also be transferred to someone who might listen to your music who’s not doing the same stuff as you are, but who, for example, feels like all of her friends and family expect her to be happy all the time, you know what I mean? People relate by emotion, not specific experience. And I think that people are also such strong supporters of you, so as long as you’re being honest, people are passionate about it. I know with Taylor, she would continue to build on her experiences from high school and get flack for it, and then she said in her New Yorker profile, something like, “What am I supposed to write about, marketing meetings?” So I do think there’s something to be said for pulling from these memories and these other experiences, ’cause these things are still yours.

With 38 fewer shows. If she tours Asia and adds more European dates (and I have no idea why she hasn't yet), she can easily make this one of the biggest female tours of all time.
Welcome to all the new Swifties!

I really hope Lorde & Taylor can build up friendship like Taylor and Ed, but both Ed and Lorde followed Taylor on twitter, Taylor just didn't follow Lorde. I was soooo waiting for Taylor & Lorde collaboration, but NEW ZEALAND? No. MELBOURNE? No. So disappointed.

Tavi Gevinson is friends with both Taylor and Lorde, I hope three of them can hang out together. Of course Taylor & Ed & Lorde collaboration will be epic! Is it possible?
