The song is no lyrical masterpiece, but the lyrics are actually pretty good. It has really great rhythm and flow, it's very catchy tbh. The worst part is the title itself (and the "baby baby bye bye") is pretty lame.

She's a great songwriter, since a lot of other industry projects and singers are copying her and using it on her new singles, since she appeared on the spotlight. Maybe she's not super intricate with her lyrics but her stamp is there in all of her songs. But i agree with what u say about this song, i don't think the lyrics are bad at all, and the chorus is not even that repetitive since it has some different words on it, not just: Highhh Byyyy Thee Beaaaacchh! And the lyrics if you compare to her other released material is pretty much on pair.

Just enjoy the new era or try to lol, i mean sometimes you just wont get the same feeling as 2011/12 cause we aren't on that years anymore, and maybe u had something attached to the time u first listened to Lana and her music, she was the new phenomenon at the time.
I hope the whole album is like this, give me those bops Lana, I LIVE.
