Dear non Americans. Stop stereotyping because it's a load of ****. And where did you come up with that? Are you a doctor? A scientist? No.you're not. Some people over eat, but most of the time it's because of emotional issues. Not just because they love food too much

The group of people who stereotype others the most, and the most ignorantly are people from the U.S. Living here I have firsthand experience with the lack of knowledge people in the U.S have about people that live outside of the country. It's astounding, and embarrassing. Why don't you start with the people next you before you attack someone for just stating facts.

You can come up with a billion excuses, but overeating is overeating and there are hard facts that back up the fact that it's the leading cause of obesity in the U.S. Do you think excusing the behavior is doing anything other than letting people eat themselves into an early grave?

She's right. There's a very small percentage of overweight people who are that way due to a condition. Vast majority is simply due to overeating.

As someone who used to be fat (not overweight, but bigger than what I should have been) loosing weight is not the most difficult thing in the world. Eat right, exercise. It is not difficult.

I hate that these days, you're seen as brave for showing off your fat in a proud way. Okay, you're confident with your body. Cool. But you're unhealthy.

Lol depression, hypothyroidism, and PCOS are not excuses. They're underlying REASONS. Emotional issues are REAL. Some people handle them by over eating, some people handle them by not eating at all. And others handle them by binging and purging. Educate yourself. Everyone likes food, because it tastes good, and if that was the issue then everyone would be obese. Take the time and learn about psychological and medical issues that are the cause of weight gain before you open your mouth
