Just cuz' it came out in time when the songs that were ruliing the charts had huge airplay on both Pop and R&B, something a Britney song rarely do, since she's never big on R&B and only depands on sales and couldn't keep selling in huge numbers and stick to the top spot that doesn't mean it "fell quickly".
