1. The song is set to be released on May 25, 2009 to mainstream, CHR/Top 40, and on June 8, 2009 to Hot AC.
2. The video is coming out.
3. New album, with the same title, is due July 14
and also, change the single cover to something much better.. It might help the single
I absolutely love the song. I've read a couple of reviews about the song and they stated this song deserves to be #1. She needs to do lotsa promotion for this. It might not do well now but i think it will be like Damaged or Untouched. It takes time to climb up the charts...
I think it's a (possible) flop because Ryan Tedder is a hack. And people have cottoned onto it.
He keeps rehashing the same forumla/structure for all his songs. People thought Battlefield would be an "epic" hit because it reminded them (deliberately) of Bleeding Love and Halo. Bleeding Love is his only great song. I actually think Halo could have flopped with anyone else but Beyonce, but she's so big right now, that most things she touches will do well.
Battlefield has basically been done. People liked it the first two times, but are already bored. I imagine he's already busy remaking Bleeding Love with Leona.
It's just falling because it has no promo yet. It's airplay is FAR from peaking! It was just released two weeks ago. Most kids at my school don't even know it's out. Calm down people, it's not dead yet.
