A lot of albums are coming out this year from Hollywood Records.

Vanessa Hudgens album is coming out this spring. She is almost done recording. Jesse McCartney's album is coming out in April (according to his myspace or website...can't remember which). Raven's new album is also coming out sometime this year too. There has been a bunch of info released about some of the people/producers she is working with. The reason they are not listed is because their albums don't have a release date yet, therefore they won't have a single/album release date yet.

"See You Again" is a song from Miley that is doing very well on radio (made top 40) with no ads and no video. "Start all Over" is apparently going to be a single because Miley just filmed a video for it. And "Reach Out" looks to be the single off the Dignity re-release. It sounds like current/future songs that Hollywood has the go ahead to release

Im not sure about that. There were no release dates on this roster, just listings of confirmed releases for Q1.

Plus there was an article that was talking about how Hollywood Records is gonna release many albums in 2008 in CDVU+ format including Hilary Duff's re-release, Jesse McCartney, & Vanessa so the album IS coming out in 2008.

They didnt say that they were releasing a Vanessa or Jesse album in CDVU+ Format in the HR Press Release for Q4. It may come out in 2008, im not saying its not. But just because the name of the album hasnt been released doesnt mean anything, they didnt have a name for Hilarys album, it just says "Untitled- Hilary Duff *".

Still, the article still doesnt confirm anything for me.They said theyd be doing the same with Aly & AJ's album, but that was scrapped. Again, im not saying that the albums not coming out, im just saying its not likely that it'll be coming out in spring when Hilarys album comes out in spring and they already confirmed it. Now IF Vanessa's album was being released around that time, this newsletter would have it listed as they rarely ever make mistakes. And she has plenty of time to do an album and HSM3, I dont think that has anything to do with it.

You said it yourself...Confirmed. Vanessa's album is not confirmed and she is finishing it up right now. Her album will need to be finished before they can give her a confirmed release date. Plus, things change in regards to albums quickly. For example Ashlee Simpson's new album is called "Bittersweet World" and it was rumored to be "Color Outside the Lines". And Hilary Duff's re-release has been known for a while, so of course she is going to be on the list.

To me, the list seems like a list of albums/singles that have been confirmed to be coming out in 2008. And just so you know, tommy2.net is reporting the re-release of of Aly & AJ's album to be on March 4th. Their new single "Like Whoa" should be hitting airwaves in early 2008, considering they have already filmed a music video for it.

I still think Vanessa's album will probably come out this Spring or Summer.

Thanks to the source at Hollywood Records (Vanessa's label) we have more news regarding her new album.

First off in my last post I told you that "I Will" was a scarpped Hilary Duff song that was given to Vanessa. It turns out "I Will" is a ballad that Hilary co-wrote and apparently Vanessa loved the track so it just might make her album.

She has also completed 14 tracks as of December 21st, and one of the new songs she recorded is called "Whisper".

Vanessa plans to record until late February and so far theres no release date but were supposed to be looking at a Spring 2008 release.

She obviously isn't gonna release it when HSM3 comes out cause shes gonna have to promote HSM3 and not her album.
Plus HSM3 is coming out in October of 2008 not the summer.
And she stated in an interview that she wants to release the album once HSM3 wraps up shooting which will be in the Spring + many sources are saying it will be a Spring release aswell.

Anyway "Whisper" sounds intresting so I can't wait to hear it!!!
