TiK ToK is the only solo single she has of global merit, her albums and tours have much, much, much, much lower sales comparative to the girls listed in the OP, the GP has little knowledge of her beyond "drunk party girl" and it isn't a far-fetched assumption to say this is reflected in her lack of award show identification and column inches. I guess this is also reflected in the results of the poll!

Lets think about it. I am not saying she is anywhere near the tier of Beyonce, Rihanna etc.. but you have to remember that they have been around much much longer (Rihanna's first two albums under performed). If Timber was Ke$ha's own song I have no doubt it still would of had the same success (probably more) then it already did. Its not just about the song though; her name and image are universally recognised and you never hear someone say "oh have you heard that song Timber but that random blonde chick", and if that was somehow the case then that person is probably clueless about the music Industry. Yes Warrior under performed but how the hell is she going to sell an album with one lacklustre dance track, which although successful, doesn't differentiate Warrior from her older music. If she had any contribution we would of had Last Goodbye, Thinking of You and Love into the Light as singles which would of enabled the GP to actually see her artistic growth.
Like I said I am not trying to say Ke$ha is a major force is pop but for those people who want to call her irrelevant or a flop just remember that she was number one on billboard less then a month ago; and I'm sure no one is delusional enough to say that it was 'Pitbull's Power' and that it was just some radio-friendly catchy song because plenty of those get made, even by well known artists and don't perform well. So before everyone quickly brushes her off as some phase or gimmick just remember that with her next record chances are she wont be working with Luke, and that doesnt mean we are going to get a whole album of Dirty Loves. With the right sound/promotion I honestly have no doubt that her next album will have more success or at least be critically acclaimed.

She's trailing behind her two peers, GaGa and Katy who all started around the same time with the same type of music. She is the last major Pop star to emerge however and have a continuous string of hits and success.
