She charted that high with 'Gimme More' in different countries only because she is Britney, and well, 'the single is very hot, but normally it would flop with such suck-ass promotion and terrible performance.

"Gimme More" is a great song overall. Yes any other artist would release a single would need to promote the single to have it become a hit. Well established artists don't. Britney Spears is a well established music star. She doesn't need to promote it.
