Her World Wide Global tour out grossed EVERY so called "global artists" female tour in 2013... WITH NO NEW music supporting it. You're missing the point. If an artist sells 1 million in the US but sells 5 million overall, that's global.
If they have sold 3 million in the US but 5 million WW, that's local

How do you guys know your fave's sales don't come from one country that is not US? What if most of Rihanna's album sales come from UK? What if Shakira's album sales only big in Latin countries? This is also local. You can be local anywhere in the world, not just in the US.

And you're wrong. You're generalising Rihanna's popularity in South Africa to the entire continent. I live in Ghana and Kenya for over half of the year when I'm not in London and I know for fact that Beyoncé is more popular than Rihanna in these countries. Perhaps they're equally popular in Africa? It would make sense as they're the most iconic black pop stars since Whitney.

P!nk does rule Oceania but I've no doubt Bey is, probably along with Katy, second to her in that department.

Anyway my point is that Bey is currently the only one of these girls who is significantly popular in every continent.

No, it's not. Both artists would be equally global, since they sold the same amount of copies in the world.
