I don't think Lady Gaga was checking for an AMA special microphone. You all are doing the absolute most over nothing. Really, you're bringing up the fact that she was given a specific type of microphone?!

You're making it sound petty, it's not the fact that it was Zendaya... the polite thing to do when a human is talking to you is acknowledge them. This thread would never have happened if Gaga had just looked a Zendaya, smiled, and said, "Nice to meet you too," or something.

It is Gaga's fault. She knew it was two reporters there; don't make excuses for that fact and turn a blind eye to it. She saw her friend and got caught up in the moment completely. Now if Zendaya had interrupted, you all would be going in on her, saying she was rude/disrespectful for that act. Zendaya even tried to speak, but Gaga went to her friend for a picture instead (and didn't even bother to ask Zendaya if she wanted one and made her hold the mic ). It's not a really big issue, but Gaga could've been a bit more considerate and at least spoke to/acknowledged the girl.
And mess at everyone calling Zendaya irrelevant and using that as an excuse as to why Gaga ignored her. If Rih & Miley can acknowledge the girl, then Lady Gaga damn sure can.

Gaga is just an artist who walks the red carpet, she is not responsible to give every reporter or interviewer there some attention. What should she have done?
"Hey girl behind and also dude there behind with the microphone, can you also come here, I want to be interviewed by you all, because I don't want any of you to be left out"
Those artists/performers/popstars just take a few minutes and then walk further the red carpet.
So yeah she went to the girl who was basically standing in front of her (who was also familair to her), and not the girl (and also the other people) next and behind her. I bet most would have done the same in her position and at that specific moment!

zendaya was pretty talkative to the other stars , she didnt even converse to gaga - it was her job to talk to gaga, and gaga even looked at her when gaga talked

Zendaya isn't basic, she's an amazing artist and y'all bitches have got to stop with the backgrounds of artists. some famous artists now were irrelevant (Britney, Justin T, Selena, Demi, Miley....) and are selling platinum actors. Gaga will probably fade in popularity when the next big pop girl rolls around
