The Grammy voters are a bunch of old white men who like music that sounds 'old fashioned'. This is the only site I go to where people really consider Grammy's that much of a respect.
I know, it's crazy how much the Grammys are revered here.

I love this site Only here can you go from talking about Grammys and #1s to Hitler
Not just here. It's so common there's even a term for it and a Wikipedia article.
In other words, Godwin observed that, given enough time, in any online discussion—regardless of topic or scope—someone inevitably makes a comparison to Hitler or the Nazis.
Who cares about his age doesn't mean what he is saying is not right if anything he would be a lot more valid than you. Since he didn't grow up in that time era and would have better knowledge as to which songs from past artists have aged well and are more remembered to a different group of people.
This is why his age matters.

as I said, her Christmas song is more memorable than all of her albums and singles combined.
In September he didn't know what AIWFCIY was. You wanna know why? He's ignorant. As a 15 year old child all he knows is 2007 and onwards & I'm being generous with 2007 as he was only turning 10 in December of that year. One minute he's claiming a person needs to have a Britney-level breakdown to be "remembered" & how he doesn't know what AIWFIY is, next minute the latter is the only song anyone ever in the history of forever knows. He said she's in the same boat as P!nk in that same thread. He's a child. His posts are prime examples.
As I said in that thread in September, he drags himself every time he speaks on Mariah's "forgettable songs" when all he ever brings up are singles older than him.

What type of flawless, effortless drag is this? The receipts, the clock, him
18 #1s, tbh. I mean, Grammy's are super honorable and they usually mean your peers respect you, but 18 #1s = $$$$$$$$$$$$. If I have 18 #1s, not only will the artist make money from the songs, but if they're a good performer they can tour around the world and collect them coins because people are always going to wanna hear those hits.
You can have a gaggle of Grammy's and still be struggling. And Lol! at people coming for Mariah's #1s. Just because YOU don't remember them, doesn't mean they're not memorable.
Oh, and stop the "anyone can get a #1" bullshi† because a lot of big stars barely get one per album.
"Wilhelm Richard Wagner (pron.: /ˈvɑːɡnər/; German: [ˈʁiçaʁt ˈvaːɡnɐ]; 22 May 1813 – 13 February 1883) was a German composer, theatre director, polemicist, and conductor primarily known for his operas (or, as some of his later works were later known, "music dramas"). His compositions, particularly those of his later period, are notable for their complex textures, rich harmonies and orchestration, and the elaborate use of leitmotifs—musical phrases associated with individual characters, places, ideas or plot elements. His advances in musical language, such as extreme chromaticism and quickly shifting tonal centres, greatly influenced the development of classical music; his Tristan und Isolde is sometimes described as marking the start of modern music."
The average person is suppose to know him?
Yes, definitely. Every average person is supposed to know him!
#1.
TBH, some artists can win **** load of Grammys like Allison Krauss, but who remembers them? Madonna and Britney Spears, they don't need that much Grammys but they are always remembered
1. Most people including me don't know who Richard Wagner is, so does it matter?
2. I've never heard of Bluegrass, and 2 musicians respecting you is not very far for 27 Grammy's.
3. I don't even understand that, nor does 95% of people.
4. Cute fact, but what influence does he have now to anyone who doesn't play the Piano and probably has to know about him?
So much ignorance in one post
You know, maybe you dont appreciate classical music, but there are millions of people who do. I was in awe when I listened to Horowitz for the first time, he was a genius and his interpretations of Mozart, Beethoven, Rachmaninoff or Chopin are very famous and belong also to my favorite versions. His own compositions are brilliant as well. You should leave your bubble and listen to him for once, maybe then you will understand that the man was a genius.

But yeah, that's drifting off-topic. I still think 18 #1's will always be better.
about equal imo. The Flop 100 is no more credible/prestigous than the Shammys these days. Only difference is a few of your #1s have a better chance of being in public conscious more than a Shammy win might.
