Because old numbers are hard to find. The most reliable source for the best selling albums worldwide is MediaTraffic and
the yeard-end album chart is available since 2004 and weekly charts since 2006 so I decided to make not full decade but half-decade.

Well, Leona's Bleeding Love alone was almost as sucessful as all of Kelly's singles together, while Spirit alone sold almost twice of what AIEW and Stronger together. Florence welch also sold almost twice, and is the 2nd most critically acclaimed female. And Amy, well, more than 9 million albums sold.
