This thread and NeYo is a response to the quick and easy album release method people are expecting. Gaga released BTW in May of 2011. Her next release is slated for 2013, but people are saying 'where is she now?' because she has not released music in several months. Interesting.

Really it doesn't matter. Gaga is beyond the scope of top 40 hits. She generates media press consistently while on one of the biggest tours ever.

Are artists these days really expected to release an album every 9 months? I'd rather Gaga continue doing what she is doing, because it is working. Born This Way might not have had singles as big as these Dr. Luke/Max Martin/Pit Bull wave songs, but the fact that they didn't and she still has a massive following speaks volume. What about you, Ne-Yo? When will your 5th single flop and your album still goes multi platinum domestically and internationally? And people still care to see you live?

I'm gonna say never.

I think I did, I remember liking 'One In A Million' (See, I even forgot it existed ) but his songs are not great hits and don't have longevity.. I don't think HE, of all people, is in a position to talk like he did about Lady Gaga. He has an opinion, yes.. but he should look in the mirror before pointing at others.
