- The new girl is a mediocre singer, yet seems to be praised as the next it girl.
- Puck's brother drama is cheesy and unconvincing.
- Will Schuester is Will Schuester
- Blaine, Tina, and Britney are all boring characters with mediocre to bad voices and any of them being "the new Rachel" is laughable. At least Britney is sometimes funny, Blaine and Tina are just basic and bring nothing.
The list can go on and on but I think to sum it up the biggest problem I found with the start of the season is that I was more interested in what Rachel was doing in NY than I was with what was happening with the entire cast at Lima High. I kept wanting to see what was going on with Rachel in college but hated when it went back to the HS because the characters there just don't do it for me.
It's funny because no matter how much it would've flopped because people are gettting more and more tired of Glee in any form(partially because they are just over it, but also because of the writing getting worst) I wish the college spin off actually did happen.
I'd be here and tune in every week for Glee that only took place in NY. and went b/w stories of Rachel, Kurt, Santana and like 3 new NYADA characters. But as it is not only do I not care for the current HS students, I actively hate most of the ones left.

I agree with you. The NY part is just WAY more interesting than the Lima plot.
They should just kill that part and have the whole show in NY featuring Rachel, Kurt, hot guy, Kate Hudson and a few new faces...
Nice episode though
