She did. However the data for that chart may be using different statistics...[maybe it does not include pre-vevo views?]

Jimmy Kimmel twice, Letterman, Billboard Awards, GMA, MTV Special, the remix (any magazine covers?). I mean, could she have promoted more? Sure. But she's definitely promoted.

She did. When was this calculated? Looks like this was an ongoing statistical gathering,

based on 09-11 I guess this is pretty accurate...although I'd probably put Katy @ #2 or #1 and Gaga below and then Rihanna...idk it'd be close between the three
I'm assuming it's the big tour and strong album sales that gave Gaga the extra push

In selecting a time period to cover, we decided to focus on the very recent past: 2009 to mid-201

well even if it was at the start of 2011 (which I highly doubt). gaga got 1 billion views on october 2010.

two things though:
1-the timeline is extremely odd, it was like tailored just for gaga
2-the title should say "the local queen of pop"
|
So Gaga is Local now?
I hope its not what you're trying to say because Gaga is even bigger worldwide.

I love how Britney's fanbase always gets called out for complaining when there are multiple fanbases doing it , no one is calling out Bey fans, or Madonna fans, or Rihanna fans....just Britney...stupid and typical.

No, the data is.
the chart numbers are from the hot 100 and BB 200 chart, which is local.

"In selecting a time period to cover, we decided to focus on the very recent past: 2009 to mid-2011" This says it all and makes the list valid for a short-period. It's severely unfair to anybody who came before 2009, therefore majorly reduced on this list and could arguably hold the tilte I guess. I'm sure if they did this based on sales and popularity during Brit's first album era, she would have been named Queen, during Beyoncé's first album era, same. I thought RS knew better, I hate comparisons, you can not compare not only such differently talented women, but also doing diverse things musically speaking, the ones who were in the game for 12+ years of achievements to the newcomers. They shouldnt just give away the title to anybody, and I wonder why do they mean by "Pop" because there are several definitions of "Pop", kind of disrespectful to me. I'm sure the Queens of Pop earned their titles over years of hard-work, longevity and continuous success in the music industry, not in two years. Congrats Gaga though lol.

MTV Special (including the Rain performances)
Good Morning America
Jimmy Kimmel (only once, the other performances were aired later)
Billboard Music Awards (even though her two cameos barely count as even one whole performance)
Letterman? When?
The remix doesn't count as promotion. Bazaar, Out and V magazine cover. We didn't even get our Rolling Stone cover this era.
