The Let's Spoon Olympics!
Since The Olympics are this summer, this season's twist is based on the competitive nature of the iconic event! In past seasons, winning challenges has been important to secure your safety in the game; however, many people chose to slide by and just post "spoon" every round. This season, winning challenges will be even MORE beneficial to you, and I encourage you all to try your hardest to win them!
In The Olympics, three medals are awarded: bronze, silver, and gold. In Let's Spoon 7, three corresponding prizes can be earned by winning challenges throughout the season.
The Bronze Boost: This will give you an advantage in any challenge of your choice. You must tell me in advance of the round that you would like to use your advantage. The last time to use this would be during the final 6 round. One-time use.
Cost: 2 wins, Quantity: 6
The Silver Spoon of Safety: This is the same as the Secret Spoon of Safety in past seasons. If you have one of these, you will be given immunity in any one round of your choice. You must post in the thread in advance of the round that you choose to sit out. The last time to use this would be during the final 6 round. One-time use.
Cost: 4 wins, Quantity: 4
The Golden Goblet: Finally, the rarest prize of all! The Golden Goblet contains an elixir which will automatically come into effect if you are eliminated from the game. The person who grabs the last spoon will then be eliminated instead of you. The last time to use this would be during the final 6 round. One-time use.
Cost: 6 wins, Quantity: 2
There is only a certain number of each prize up for grabs. However, please note the following stipulations. (1) You can only earn ONE of these prizes throughout the season. (2) Once you pass a certain number of challenge wins, you can NO LONGER buy a cheaper prize. For example, when you have two wins to your name, you can buy a Bronze Boost. However, once you earn a third challenge win, you are not able to buy this item anymore, and must wait for your fourth win to purchase the Silver Spoon of Safety if you wish. So you will be faced with a dilemma: do I risk buying something too early, or pushing it off to late? Should I wait for a better item, or stop now? The decision will be yours!
