• Whenever you come out, having to deal with LONG conversations convincing people your not lying and it's not a prank. Like, around where I live it is such a foreign concept even the idea of being gay is seen as a prank or a joke

"You don't sound/act/look gay!", "Your voice is too deep to be gay!", "but you have had a girlfriend!" etc. All of these tired responses.
• It is SO hard to find a boyfriend, or even just a gay friend. Literally I'm the only gay guy in my town, and the next two towns over. The only one who is out, at least.
• All of these NASTY ASS, straight SLOBS thinking you're attracted to them just because you're gay.
• Being ostracized.
• When you come out and people start calling you their "Gay Best Friend". First of all, bitch, we're barely friends. Second of all, that is not my identity. I am not some possession, some cheap gimmick you keep in your pocket and trot around as your "gay best friend!"
