Ray of Light is one of the best ever albums, and it's not overrated. It's underrated if anything. When Madonna dies suddenly it'll be the greatest work of art ever (and rightfully so), but largely people forget to take her music seriously when her celebrity is so big.
I know people will say it's a cliche or biased answer, but Lemonade pretty much displays the kind of mastery and understanding of cohesion that is clearly displayed on Ray of Light.
But as someone touched upon in this thread, I don't think most of the pop girls has reached the age to display the maturity as seen on ROL.
Looking at their personal lives though, I'd have loved to see Britney do something like ROL given how much has happened to her and how it has impacted her - but I don't think she has the artistry or desire to do something along those lines. (Which is a shame because I can't think of any other pop star better positioned to dethrone DW/SFL in terms of expressing a bad relationship with fame).
