I personally think it doesn't deserve to win. You put Loud up against albums such as Beyonces 4 which showcase superb vocal talent and amazing writing, and Adeles 21 flawless translation from real life into music. Loud just doesn't match up, in my honest opinion.

I'm sure the bigger the album/star is the more likely the album is to be noticed, that's just common sense. Whether some want to admit they are influenced by sales or not, is up to them. I happen to think those things are taken into account.
