- Janet Jackson is one of the very very few artists to ever get on my countdown with any video and hit #1 with it. Each Janet video has spent 1 day at #1 if it's been on!
- Missy Elliot, who would retire with DC3 on Bootylicious, has had the most retired videos with 6! (Booty, One Minute Man, Son of a Gun with Janet, Take Away, Work It, I'm Really Hot). She's actually tied with Kylie Minogue on that count (CGYOOMH, In Your Eyes, Spinning Around, Love At First Sight, Come Into My World, Red Blooded Woman)
- Mandy would hold the record for most days at #1 (23) until Kylie knocked it out the following year with 26 with LAFS. Liberty X would tie it with "Being Nobody" and 26 was the cap until Nelly Furtado kicked all asses with Try, which spent 28 consecutive days at #1, taking the record for most consecutive away from Kyles who had 20 with LAFS.
- Mandy has 2 retired videos (Crush, Cry). DC3 has two retired videos (Booty, Emotions +1 for Beyonce (CIL)). Blu has only one retired video. Nelly spent 9 days on with BU and 2 with #1 and that's it. Willa retired once with Did Ya Understand That (Thanks Ed
). Alicia has seen three videos spend nealy 50 days on but not one retirement. J.Lo saw "I'm Real" with Ja Rule retire in October, which is the longest span between debut and retirement (Pink's "Family Potrait" and 311's "Amber" come close, though). Nelly F saw TOTL, On The Radio and Try retire for her as well as Breathe with Swollen Member. AAF spent 1 day on.
