I think the first Madonna song I heard was Hung Up, because my step-dad got Confessions on a Dance Floor for Christmas.
I knew who Madge was, but I'd never heard one of her songs before. I probably saw LAV on a MMM countdown before but never really paid attention.

I didn't discover any of them until I was like 16.
Like, I was raised on gay pop like Kylie & Girls Aloud, but I still have love for the R&B girls.

Madonna and Celine were the only 2 I had to discover on my own. My mom stanned Mariah hardcore, and she loved Whit & Janet too.
and to be honest, I didn't know who Kylie or Girls Aloud was until 2 years ago.
With the exception of Spice Girls, I was completely unaware of the UKs pop scene.

I actually use both those songs. Dear Jessie's still cute though!

You don't like LAV, ITG, LAB?

No, I think LAV is one of her most overrated songs.
The lyrics are probably too straightforward for me. At least LAP is subtle with it's sexual innuendo.
ITG is really boring, and I don't even know what LAB stands for.
