Bionic sold 200,000 copies the first week with one underperfoming single and not international promotion, yet people called the album a huge flop.
Shakira on the other hand sold 179,000 copies the first week, with two singles, two videos including one viral video featuring RIHANNA and international promotion.
Plus :
Lotus in the US : 73,500 (1st week ) + 52,500 (2nd week) : 126,000 copies sold.
Shakira in the US : 84,000 (1st week) + 28,000 (2nd week) : 112,000 copies sold.
So please, don't call her global cause she's nowhere near; her fans are delusional as hell. The only way she can get a hit is with the World Cup. Let's see if she can do it again.

Shakira's name and impact are huge all around the world. Deny it as much as you want; it is the truth. Sales don't diminish her legacy or what she has done in her career. She will always have sold out shows in her tours no matter what.
Besides, like Chemist said she will once again outsell these albums like she did with SW and SES.

Shakira has never been a big 1st week seller but she has longevity so you shouldn't count her out that's why Sale el Sol (an album in spanish) outsold BJ+Bionic+Lotus put together and that's why her tour (from an album in spanish) outgrossed FF tour and well Christina is not even able to tour anymore so IDK why are her stans trying

First of all why is with your desperation to come and say all that when Xtina is not being mentioned in the thread? We(Shakira stans) have never dragged Xtina for anything so now you come in here with your receipts trying to "clock" who or what exactly?
