Radio plays what they want to play. Obviously the most popular songs are going to correlate in performance on both radio and iTunes. Obviously if a song is high on iTunes, the
chances of it being played on radio are higher. They still historically use the Top 40 of the Hot 100, which I guess is indirectly using iTunes. I don't think they use it directly, at least not yet. There are still a ton of examples of songs that could be bigger on radio based on their iTunes performance.

each other. That was not your original statement. I just think radio is more dominant in the two, and in their choices. It is the bigger platform in exposing a song, while sales are only driven with physical and visual promotion without the radio airplay.
