After watching the RTV Zone recap of last episode, I'm going to go a bit on a rant.
All though this season is shaping up to be better than the last few, I do think CBS needs to start casting people who are there to play the game and not become fame *****s. It pisses me off that this season that almost half of the castaways were recruited and some never even seen the show before. I miss the days back in Vanuatu and Palau where people were there to PLAY the game. Eliza, Twila, Stephanie, Jenn (
) Tom, Bobby Jon all worked their asses off and played with true heart.
What's even more irritating? The fact there are thousands of Canadians that are willing to play but we're not allowed to apply. All of Canada was clinching their teeth when NaOnka & Purple Kelly quit the game because we know we'd never do that but yet we don't even have a chance to show our worth? CBS needs to pick it up and start making all castaways APPLICANTS and not recruits. Nothing is interesting about a Hooter's Cocktail Restaurant who doesn't even know where Samoa is to be put on the show over a die hard fan who'd actually come up with strategy.
