yes, because it was suppossed to be on UV. Lana was with Emile in the studio in late 2013 before she started working with Dan A. That's where they probably started writing Wait for Life.

I personally find the verses of ICF hopeful and lovely, and WFL's chorus is very beautiful to me. Meanwhile, Y&B is still my least favorite song she's officially released. My point is, your view of these tracks isn't the be all, end all like you're trying to make it seem. It's just as subjective as any of us.

it's a given that anything anyone says is an opinion. IN MY OPINION, BE is good, and the other two are boring. didn't say that was the final word written in stone and my post just before, i was only saying that even though i don't love the three, i do think BE is good, at least. i'm not trying to say my opinion is "right," just that it's my opinion. so

WFL was indeed meant for UV, Emile said so himself in an interview with Complex I think.
The songs she released lately (BE, ICF and WFL) are not bad at all. They have strong melodies, soft and beautiful lyrics... but they just lack something. They're just "meh". I mean they don't have that fire that UV songs have (like West Coast, Shades of Cool, Cruel World...). I also hope that Honeymoon won't sound like these songs a lot. I want a new sound and a better production. I want a lot of guitars.
