Basically, my U DUN-goofed songs of 2010, are the songs that didn't make the final cut for this year's best songs of the year. It was originally supposed to be 100 songs altogether (Top 50 & U DUN-goofed), but it's been extended to 120 because there were some particular songs that I couldn't possibly miss out. Make sure to continue checking in while a count down 10 songs for each set...
#120 - #111
#120. N.E.R.D - Hypnotize U
- Big fan of Pharrell's music, I think he's pretty much a genius, and such a cool guy. I downloaded this song when it first leaked as I really loved "Hot-n-Fun", but basically ignored it up until about 3 weeks ago, and had it on loop throughout that day. Since I've only liked for a short while, I thought I should just place it in here at the beginning of the chart. Good effort and soft R&B song to get everything flowing. (Sex song)
#119. Ou Est Le Swimming Pool - Dance The Way I Feel
- Nice electro song from a British pop band. It was sad to hear about the lead singer's suicide after one of this year's music festivals. I think that's what drew more attention to the band and the song. I was listening to the song before the singer had killed himself, but away from that, this is a really good pop song. It's a shame that that's it for the band though.
#118. Plan B - Prayin'
- Plan B has had a great year in the UK charts. His latest record, "The Defamation of Strickland Banks", stood tall at the top of the UK album charts, and this song "Prayin'" stood out from the pack for me. It was quite a favourite for me, but sadly I didn't play it near enough as I would have thought I would. While "She Said" became a monster hit, this is the favourite for me, the production and the beat definitely stayed with me.
#117. Far East Movement ft. Dev & The Cataracs - Like A G6
- The energy for this song is crazy, especially when I first heard it, you can definitely hear this song in a club. For some reason, and me being a fan, this song definitely reminded me of Jersey Shore. The song was definitely a party song for me back in October. Now that it's became a hit here in the UK, I still find myself singing "Now I'm feeling so fly like a G6". That's the master behind the song, the lyrics definitely plant themselves in your head. It just won't go away.
#116. Tiffany Page - On Your Head
- Besides being an absolute knock-out in the beauty department, Tiffany has a wonderful voice aswell. So raw and pure, love it! "On Your Head" is such a dirty, rock/pop song, definitely reminds me of something that Sheryl Crow or Alanis Morissette would release. Such a nice record. It's a shame the song flopped hard in the charts, and no other songs peeled over the surface. I would have loved for this girl to come back with something spectacular.
#115. Bombay Bicycle Club - Ivy & Gold
- Lovely summer song. I adore this band's music, it's so nice and warm, you just don't get bored of listening to a song like this. It's a shame I didn't love it as much as their first single "Always Like This" which was released in 2009. But they came back with a solid sophomore record, and their music really resonates with the listener. I think any type of music fan can appreciate this band's music if they gave it a chance.
#114. Fibes, Oh Fibes! - Love Will Always Find A Way
- A good review from Popjustice made me catch onto this song. I listened to this song a lot while I was on a weekend trip in London. The piano at the beginning gave me goosebumps, it's so haunting, especially for a song that goes into an upbeat rhythm. Nice euro-pop song! Definitely played it a lot in early August.
#113. Maroon 5 - Misery
- I was so disappointed with this song when I first heard it, especially after they released a song like "Makes Me Wonder". It didn't do well chart wise Worldwide (outside the U.S.), but it's still a catchy song after a while. It definitely took me a long while before I actually started to like it fully. Now I still really love it. I'm just disappointed with their latest music. I want "Songs About Jane" Maroon 5 era back.
#112. 3oh!3 ft. Ke$ha - My First Kiss
- Such a bad song, I mean come on, 3oh!3 are a terrible band, but it's so bad, that it's brilliant. And no, it isn't a guilty pleasure, because I'm not afraid to admit that I like a terrible band like 3oh!3. "MFK" is such a catchy song, whether they're using whistling or "oooh"ing to make the song stick with people, they always manage to get a song into people's heads, and this one stuck around for ages. I wish the band released "Touchin' On My" as a single though. Just a side-note.
#111. LCD Soundsystem - Drunk Girls
- "Drunk girls, drunk girls, drunk girls, drunk girls, drunk girls....", again repetitive songs are the ones that stick with a listener. I hadn't paid much attention to LCD Soundsystem in the past, but as the year grew on, I really got into this band and this song in particular. Along with a video I've praised already, this song is an almighty combination. They really caught onto something here.
More U DUN-goofed later. So please comment and stay tuned, because the list will continue to get better, as I count down the BEST songs of 2010.
Wow you already watched Little Fockers? Is it really funny because alot of people says that the jokes are stale and they can't even giggle? Perfect movie list.

I love Far East Movement and NERD in this set
I enjoyed it, it had it's moments. I preferred it to the previous films, but that's my own opinion. I would still give it a chance.
In this set, we venture through songs #110 - #101, but this set also includes a double number at #110. So let's take a look at this set...
#110 - #101
#110. Alexis Jordan - Happiness / Big Boi - Shutterbugg
- I couldn't get rid of either of them, so I decided to put the two together. I really enjoyed the song "Happiness" for a brief period during November this year. A fun peppy dance song, by a girl that will never have a hit again, or anything that I'll ever listen to again, but it peaked at #3 in the UK Charts, so I obviously gave it a listen. Surprised it became the hit that it did. And OutKast's Big Boi ventured into solo territory and released his solo effort "Sir Luscious" which was released to rave reviews. "Shutterbugg" is a groovy hip-hop song, something that sounds like it should have been released during the '90's, released a bit late I'd say. I was definitely hoping for something along the lines of classic OutKast, but that's not what I got.
#109. Broken Bells - The High Road
- This pairing shouldn't work, but it really does. The High Road is a calm, luscious song, it really takes you into a different World listening to it. This was a song that stuck with me all year, yes it's at number 109, but it's song that I did listen to at different occasions during the year, rather than for one week during one month of the year. None the less, a lovely song, that I'm sure you'll enjoy, if you haven't heard it before.
#108. Enrique Iglesias ft. Nicole Scherzinger - Heartbeat
- I'm not such a fan of Enrique Iglesias' music, I never have, but you can't deny Enrique released a good pop record in 2010 with "Euphoria". This is probably my favourite Enrique song since "Escape" and "Love To See You Cry". I think "Heartbeat" is very similar to "Love To See You Cry", which is probably why I liked it so much. It's a very sexy song, and Nicole's vocals really add that sensuality to it.
#107. Erykah Badu - Window Seat
- I've never been a fan of Erykah's music, but when I heard this song on Radio 1 one afternoon, being championed by Chart Show host Reggie Yates, I was sceptical after hearing the name, but when it started it was like "Cloud Music". Just like "The High Road", Erykah's vocals help you drift away. Her voice is like honey. Such a beautiful record, I could listen to this endlessly, I just wish I listened to it much more than I should have.
#106. The Wombats - Tokyo (Vampires & Wolves)
- A departure from the generic Brit-Rock music they had previously released. The Wombats this time around definitely tried to infuse electro and auto-tune into this song, and it actually paid off. Maybe it's a sell-out from a fan's point of view, but I actually enjoyed this. It's very catchy, for me, more catchy that "Let's Dance To Joy Division". The "ah-ah-ah-ah" bit during the chorus really kept me listening to it. Yes, when this bit was on while listening to my iPod, a cheesy grin would stretch across my face, don't ask why.
#105. I Blame Coco - Selfmachine
- The daughter of Sting. Yes, this is what I Blame Coco's singer Eliot Paulina Sumner will be forever labelled by. Her dad is a talentless wanker in my opinion, and her face is enough to turn anyone off, but she actually released a great song with "Selfmachine". "Caesar" was the first song I heard, but I fell in love with "Selfmachine" for a short period during July 2010. She has a strange voice, but it definitely works well with the track.
#104. OneRepublic - Secrets
- "Secrets" originally became a hit in Germany and Austria in late 2009 after being featured in some film, and is currently a hit in the States. But I very much enjoyed this generic Ryan Tedder record in March of 2010. Ryan Tedder's voice really annoys me, and it's his usual work, but I enjoyed this one more than the other songs they've released. I have to say though it is a good pop record, and I really did love it for that brief period in March.
#103. Lil' Wayne feat. Drake - Right Above It
- I was originally a big fan of Weezy in 2008, and I loved "Mrs. Officer" and "Lollipop", but that all changed when "Right Above It" was released in the late summer of '10. This has to be Weezy's best record. The song is mind-blowing in my opinion, so you would think I would have placed it higher, but I only came to this conclusion quite recently, so your pretty much screwed "Weezy".
#102. Delphic - Doubt
- This band were originally tipped to become one of 2010's biggest bands, that sadly never happened, and it really is a great shame that they didn't become bigger, because this song, amongst others, were destined to be Electro Classics. "Doubt" is one of the best Electro songs of the year, fact. Really remind me of Friendly Fires.
#101. Gorillaz - Stylo
- This has to be one of the strongest singles Gorillaz have released, why it wasn't a big hit like "Feel Good Inc." and "Clint Eastwood", I don't know. I loved this though. The animated group were on fine form with this song, and it definitely left me with high expectations for the upcoming album. Great song!
More U DUN-goofed later, and we will delve into the Top 100! Get psyched. Please comment, instead of lurking ...
